Ages 5+
Do you have a young chef in the making? GUILD’s after school cooking classes provide a space for children to explore their culinary creativity while learning food preparation skills that will set them up for success in the kitchen.
Delicious and healthy recipes are a key ingredient of every cooking class at GUILD. We teach students how to chop, dice, peel, slice, wash, strain, core, bake, toast, whisk, fold and mix. Students will learn to read recipes and measure ingredients in a way that makes recipe preparation (and clean-up) easy and fun!
Cultural awareness is an important part of our program. We carefully select recipes that expose students to the foods and dishes of other countries. Our instructors share interesting facts about world cuisine and encourage students to share their own cultural food experiences with classmates. Ages 5-11

Calling all pint-sized creatives! Mini (mess) Makers is a series designed just for preschoolers and their grown-ups. Each week combines process-based art, sensory exploration, dramatic play, and plenty of joyful mess-making in GUILD’s 3-D Creator’s Corner.
Mini Makers - Theatrical Thursdays (10–11:30am) – Jump into arts & crafts in a sensory filled session that incorporates role play, dress up, music and puppetry.
Mini Makers - Story & Craft Saturdays (3–4:30pm) – Meet real local authors, enjoy storytime, and create process based art inspired by the book.
Mini (mess) Makers is all about curiosity, play, and discovery. Caretakers stay to support, siblings under age 1 are welcome (with supervision), and together we’ll bring big ideas to life in fun, messy ways! Drop in anytime during the 90 minute session and join in the fun! Preregistration required.
